Resurrected
Enveloped in eggshell
darkness
trembles all earth
aghast
mouth of rocks
cracked sighing
veil of temple ripped up
tempest has scattered
disciples
wavering in faith
to flee
few by the cross
have remained
weeping with our Mother
to be.
Torches of flames
in dry fields
demons
dancing in glee
with screeches
and howls
claim victory
over the One
using injustice
they killed.
Eggshell cracks
third day
splendor of Risen
lights up
heaven earth
and the minds
of disciples who return
to drink and to sup
with Him.
Rejoice lovers of love
sing love birds
a new song
ring bells of the sky
Angels with trumpet and lyre
rejoice he is truly risen
by His blood our sins
are forgiven
family of believers
rejoice
with His Father He
has united us in love
and the Spirit
in joy of His glory
forever.
