There is a new form of poetry I created called vermistial poetry. Vermistial is a combination of the words vermillion and celestial. This is the very first vermistial poem to ever exist. What makes a vermistial poem a vermistial poem is that one has to write ten lines with eleven words on each line. But there's more. The endings of lines one and two have to rhyme. The endings of lines five and seven have to rhyme. Lastly, on the tenth and final line, there has to be an alliteration of at least three words and/or syllables placed anywhere on the tenth line.

I have drowned in this dark lonely sea for so long I have forgotten what it was like before to be strong No chains needed, just the water pressure kept me down here No light within sight, I have given up all dreams already The drift upwards starts on its own in its own time The healing never feels like it is actually there at all I can’t find even a sound of hope from a chime Up and up I ascend, slowly but surely, I will rise A faint light after centuries of darkness finally emerges at last I now resurface with my life, light, liberty, and soul restored
