Restless Legs Syndrome
My legs twitch
In diabolical motion
Sending waves
Unintentionally
Through my legs
They are annoying
Not painful per se
But hurtful in another sense
Keeping me awake
During the night hours
I jump when it happens
Shock waves uncontrolled
I frown by each wave
Swearing at their ferocity
They don’t stop
I keep getting them
A crazy twitch within
Passing no comfort
Through to me, ever
Keeping me up
All through the night
With nothing but the twitch
In my helpless legs
