Restless
I am restless in my days
Exhausted from the moment
Seeking solace in my home
Yet spend hours pacing about
Lord, it is You that I need
And You that brings rest
The world is moving so fast
And seems so far from You
Please, reach down Your hand!
Touch me with Your peace!
Fill my heart with hope
Reassure me of Your salvation
My heart longs to see You
My spirit cries out to You
Hear my prayers O Lord
Bring calmness to my spirit
Calm my soul with Your word
Whisper Your voice in my ear
Hold this child of Yours
Let her rest in Your arms so strong
