Resting place under the tree
Beneath the deep shade of the old hollow tree,My mother and brother rest, peaceful and free.
Bright robins and blue jays find refuge and sing. Safe in the shelter the quiet boughs bring. The soft autumn wind whispers light through the air as fall leaves fall freely, a blanket of prayer
.
A sad, tender peace fills this beautiful space,Where God looks on their quiet embrace.
A loving, strong mom raising eight children right she served us with devotion, both day and night.
With hands always giving, her heart was our guide—We love you, sweet Mom, as you rest side by side.
David, you left us so quickly, too soon, a weak heart gave out, but you left us a piece of your spirit to keep, to comfort our souls as we look here and weep.
They always looked out for each other in life, protecting each other through sorrow and strife.
David worked hard through his years on this earth,A son who showed everyone true, honest worth, Bound by a love that will never divide,Her sweet, gentle boy nestles safe by her side.
At home with the Savior, no better place known—Together forever, they finally reached home."He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." — Revelation 21:4
