Rest In Peace
The sun sets again,
As I stare up at the night sky.
Can you see me?
Do you know I'm looking?
I can't see you, but you're there;
A spirit in the sky.
Can you hear me?
Do you know I'm speaking?
I write this poem for you,
Though I know you'll never read.
Can you watch me?
Do you know I'm writing?
I'll see you again some day,
Though it won't be for years.
Do you miss me,
Like I miss you?
