Many years ago, I was struggling to Rest in God, I pleaded
and begged Him to help me and then I began to ask Him if
He would let me die!!! I meant, physically and so I could
be with Him. Well, one day when I was praying, He
let me die to ME! After that, resting in Him was so
easy! God bless.
Rest in God
There is a comely rest we enter into
when at His feet we choose to dwell
out of the world’s hustle and bustle
and out of the devil’s crowd from hell.
But that rest sometimes does not come so easy
and it can take a painful battle to fight
but once we are there it is worth it
because we know that everything will be all right.
You see that rest in Him is knowing His will
and trusting His Word so true
believing what He says that He will do
which includes taking very good care of you.
After all a God this great
Who formed the stars and the sky
also says about you and me
that we are the apple of His eye.
So Father I gladly come to You
knowing there is a rest for the people of God from their cares
for my Savior said He had come to deliver us
and gladly all of our burdens He will bear.
