Rest In Beauty
In these troubling times of uncertainty,
And pain that runs deep through our veins
We must remember what matters most
What we still have and care far reaching
No-one knows what will happen next
We have this precious moment now
It's hard to accept it, if not feeling well
But, there can be new moments if we try
An injured bird may struggle to fly
It may seem hopeless for anything
But a hobble is a step, a squeak may be a voice
A song can return, on the ground or in the sky
You may cry tears that wait to be wept
Find positive images, where they are kept
Mountains can be so hard to climb
But the view from the top, you will find
No more wondering how you got there,
You just did and now you may rest in beauty
