Rest For the Wicked
The one link to reality,
The beacon in the storm,
The eye of a hurricane,
The calming of chaos,
During the storm,
When the hurricane rages on,
The help comes along,
The rest,
Under the wings,
Is the eye of the eye of the storm,
When courage fails us,
When strength drains from us,
To the ultimate fall,
When we cant move anymore,
When our fight is gone,
The wind of combat,
The rain of scars,
The clouds of darkness,
Trapping us,
But then,
The rest comes,
The eye crosses over us,
To rest,
To collapse with ease,
Knowing protection,
For the will to fight on,
The eye of god,
Watches over us,
He brings us rest,
He brings us peace,
He brings the will to fight on,
When the destruction of evil,
Tries to cast its shadow,
God shields us,
With the eye of the storm,
A temporary rest,
To fight again,
Raging again'st the storm,
Until God returns,
To stop the storm,
To grant us rest,
For those who believe,
For those who accept rest,
In him,
Not just temporary rest,
Eternal rest,
Because God stopped the storm,
As even the wicked know,
"They're is no rest fore the wicked',
Because the wicked reject God,
So they cant see peace,
They cant see the eye,
Of the storm.
