Re-Spoken

I need you to speak to me
With without words you might behold
I beseech for a time you’ll make me see
Of a dream you have the power to unfold

Of the Gods so many chose to believe
Of the Devils whom others worshipped
Yet... truths are axes awaiting to cleave
Have we bled? perhaps more to bleed...

We are humans... never Gods
Have we the souls for the Devil’s toll?
The many religious wars to have fought
Need a story more be foretold?

Of course be words unheard and unspoken
Comfort to only reside within to be found
Curses and beliefs as be meant weaken
Haven’t you a prayer for time be beckon round?

I need to speak to you
With without words I shall do so
I believe myself to be real
Of a dream only I have the power to unfold
