Resolutions
Resolutions for the new year serves up zero interest to many
Endurance and resolve are twins required for real success
Settlers and softies should never undertake major resolutions
Off to the races in January and way off the paces by April or May
Like it or not, resolutions are not for the weak and faint of heart
Underachievers may not be finishers, but they too should be proud
The starters, even if failing to finish, are better off for having tried
Imagine where any of us would be if we never attempted to achieve
Observers and spectators stand on the sidelines, but not participators
Navigating life successfully involves winning and losing, giving and taking
Some inventors and explorers accidentally discover what they were not looking for
