Resolution

is it just the time of year
that we pause, take stock
think of new resolutions
and the old we did not keep

this New Year, I resolve
to look deep and measure
to look outside the box
to think, not in abstract
to feel, not more than there is
to dream less
and realize more
to not over analyze
to accept and not push

this New Year
