Unaware the battle has been won, His every ounce of blood now gone A fallen soldier lay upon the battlefield His might and power not to yield Faithful, genuine, simple and pure; His honor required that he endure. For those he fought, he did not hate His now to endures that tempted fate Must he be deemed unduly and rebuked. His patriotism, honor and death resolute
