Resentment

Resentment

Still gone, still alone, town still deserted
It's been months since you left me here...

                                  Are you ever coming back?
Why do you keep running away?
                                  Why from me?
                                  Your own flesh and blood...

Scorching days, dusty breath, lingering death
Weeks ago I stopped being afraid...

I no longer feel like dying...
Now I shall cast the curse...
I am still the Innocent Victim...
                                  Do you even remember me?

Daddy, Daddy, you better never come home...
