Request To a Sleepless Poem
Lay down, sleep, sleepless poem
for me into the night, slowly
may I be attentive and long
can write your thoughts
adjust your body thus thoughtless
so that I can consciously
write incessantly with impunity
take my advice and rest
to free me from discomfort
having you attentive to my torment
