dusts of attic enter my soul heavy with old notes length- wise, etching memories from burnt coal as past chapters return for sighs. And goodbyes flash across gray skies seeking whispers this soul soon dwells, in reveries of eve’s tossed dyes; when time housed magical spells -------------- The Itty Bitty Contest Andrea Dietrich *Hutain form: 8 Lines, mix of 7- 8 syllables per line with rhyme scheme ababbcbc ( the more popular type)... ---------- Placed under verse category

this is very lovely. At first I thought it was an instrument lying in the attic (which would be an example in your contest on instruments!) I love the sadness in this. Congrats too!!

I do picture the writer of yore, with coal and slip in composition... and 'blink', this magical spell; which you have successfully spilled on your slip, will capture many souls dear poet !
