Renewal
Breathing in this icy air, I couldn't help but giggle as I accidentally
bumped into a very large fir tree... that was so obviously
clumsy of me.
I startled a snow hare from his morning fare... oh there he
goes as he jumps and scampers away. What a bright
and glorious day.
Now as I step out into the clear, the massive domed mountains
rise up to great heights right before my awe struck eyes.
This white covered domain seems like a vision too impossible to be real.
I could never so capture the feeling... the feeling of God as it comes
all around me.
One could hear a whisper in this crystallized cathedral.
I would love to toast this day; the wine would be red if I had but
a challis fit enough for any king's palace.
In the distance I see a large buck with his ever imposing antlers,
standing on the other side of a large frozen lake.
I am at peace in my Lord's lovely realm... this place where the
renewal of my salvation and the healing of man's hateful ways
can be found. Even in this rare and earthly beauty I know that
Heaven does exist.
