Renegades

Wooed and wedded with a devil's kiss
the renegades are here; not blessed
on any heaven's list nor bedded
in the womb of common decency.

Men are bleeding, truth and beauty
losing their validity; legless, heartless,
headless, mindless, sheer insanity.

Humanity withers; kinfolk are reeling,
dealing their brothers, stealing
another look over their shoulders,
trust but a fantasy, justice a dream.
