Reminiscence of the Past

A past to be faded, That is the day; The day the mind starts living at bay. Walking amongst the earth, a mere phantom of the present, The mind indulges in memories left unresolved, Unaware that it is time never to return; spent. Fond reminiscences, ceased, Regrets for unresolved errors, degraded, Leave one to mourn when they must return, To the now. Who chooses to be held in time, Frozen and unresponsive, When they might step forth into the future, Allowing the sand in the hour glass of life to so swiftly fall?
