Reminiscence of Seasons

I reminisce, I miss each moment carved on memory’s wings of seasons passing by the crisp falling leaves gently adrift in the air a moment standing still in autumn’s twilight's surrender a sparrow beside my windowpane perching on a bare cherry twig gently calling my name each early winter morn the petals of cherry blossoms showering me as I pass by beneath the trees that hug me in a midday spring walk the scent of roses in my porch on summer’s afternoon delight as I re -read old favourite books I reminisce, I miss 10 April 2021 For “I reminisce, I miss Poetry Contest” Sponsored by James Edward Lee Sr. 1st place
