Reminisce

Freedom! A most priceless phenomenon
Raised from the abundance
Of slavery. Its value most valued when gone
Nostalgia prompting the urge to sing and dance
Truth be told, I am grateful for slavery
In spite of its harshness
Expresssions were considered slippery
Reason sustain’d. Slavery, What bitter kindness!
Lead me back onto its blurred path
Easing up mental dementia and insanity
Ending my search for inner peace.
