Remembrance Day Song
Remembrance Day is everyday
_or so the News would sink
Where soldiers die in everyway
a News can fit in ink
That nowhere is another way
for soldiers die in peace
That everywhere's another way
that hope's denied decease
As all of us who cherish death
can do it way too long
Where all we seem to say to them
is have you gone to song
That every song we sing to them
sings sadder to belong
When all the time we wait for them
brings sadness to forlong
As each one that we write for them
brings comfort for the sound
When each one that goes out to them
goes sadly to the ground
As everything we want from them
is still upon the ground
With each one who had hopes to give
our fight more when it's found
