Remembrance Day
today
we think of those who went to war
we think of them and what they were fighting for
they stood for what they believed was right
they fought for our country and did not take flight
they risked their life so we could be free
they fought all that time ago even for you and me
they were our troops
as one they did stand
to fight for peace across our land
so think of those who had to go away
and remember them today. Amen
