Remembering What I Want To Forget

In the middle of the storm I found peace, Love brightened the day with a soft kiss, Her beauty disturbed my brain like a tough quiz, Love was the mr , romance was his miss. Suddenly, shadows defeated the reigning dawn, Fight and quarrel argued with the existing fun, Thunder cracking, encouraging the darkness to come, I strife so hard but the love was long gone. Flashes of the moment I tried to neglect, But they kept coming, bringing along regret, Ashes of the moment like a burning cigarette, I remember vividly though I want to forget.
