Remembering them
they came, they stayed,
they built these walls,
they built this hall,
with wood, with rocks,
flowers bloomed, leaves shedded,
spring came, seeds spreaded,
two to many,
they blowed,
with west winds, with east tides,
they've lived, they've died,
under that roof down by riverside,
I've seen many flowers bloom since then,
they've all withered now,
those pillars have fallen,
these walls have crumbled,
only I stand,
only I grow,
only I remember,
those flowers down below.
