Remembering the Special Times

I remember long ago the special times, When my head swirled with clever rhymes And now the old gray matter seems sluggish, The years have added too much information Stored up in fragile synapses that fire not Like they did when I was young and fresh, I remember long ago the special times When my head swirled with clever rhymes, I penned clever and intricate verses easily While doing the daily chores--even napping. written June 24, 2021

Look at the gains in wisdom, my friend, L MILTON, your gains surpass any losses. Blessings.
