Remembering Hurts
You are the whisper upon my heart
The secret I hold deep
Locked away in my soul
For only me to keep
You are the star that I wish upon
Up in the night times skies
The tears I hold back in regret
Stinging up my eyes
You're the words that never fell
From my lips and mouth
My mind heard them
But could not speak them out loud
You are part of me forever
Buried dead and gone
They day you left my soul it wept
Part of me it died also
I still see your face in my dreams
I hear your silly laugh
These are things I hold so dear
Locked deep inside my heart
I will always cherish you
The times we shared together
But for now I'll let you go
It's all that I can do
Because you are there
And I am here
Waiting...longing for
My happily ever after
