Remembering

JUST REMEMBERING by Donna November 15, 2014
Taking a day just for me,
one that is hassle free,
watching movies on TV
Holiday themes all day long
remind me of times now gone...
Xmas morning-awake at dawn !
Jumping from my bed to see
what was left beneath the tree...
my childhood days-so carefree !
Later little ones came my way...
traditions kept from my day...
watching my own children play !
Then they grew and grandkids came...
tried to keep things the same...
at least, that was my aim !
The "grands" now too are grown...
some with babies of their own !
Tho I've aged, I'm not alone !
