Remembering
these same four walls
these walls that she DIED
in.
memories
wouldn't you know
it's raining again
tense-----waiting
sick-----------feeling
this familiar border ----[LINE]
of life
and death
the same empty cold halls
halls she last LIED
in.
remembrance
i can still feel
the clammy cold
kiss of death, WAITING.
for her
for me.
these same last prayers
these prayers that pass my LIPS
again.
forever more
i wonder
if we are both still
expecting
to open
OUR eyes
and HUG each OTHER
and SMILE
like we did
like never again
these same things that haunt my memory
these memories in those BIPS
dying
[gone.]
