Rememberance Day

On rememberance day we honour all Each gave their best enduring call God bless each one for being there All our service men did their share. Soldiers young and soldiers old Fought in wars brave and bold They fought in air, land and sea If not for them where would we be. Some lived while others died As they fought side by side They fought many a day and night Their mission sure, their spirits bright. Their loved ones bore a great pain So many thoughts will never wane We're proud of all the forces who Fought for the red, white and blue. We'll never let their special day Their time of honour slip away Though we may not know each name We think of all who fought just the same. © Hazel

Yes, I sure do love them. They are so brave, courageous, and sweet. A lot of them don't think of themselves and always put others first. They are a special breed. We sure honor them. Great write, Hazel. Thanks for writing this. Love ya, Toquyen

Thank you Toquyen, yes I believe all service men should be honoured in some way. My own father was in the 39-45 war and was taken prisoner by the Japanese. Hazel.
