Remember When

Remember when
 summer days were long
 roller skating was cool
collecting the sticker from your 5 cent gum
while learning how to walk the dog with your coke a cola yo yo
remember when happy days was on & you sat & watched with your Fonzie t- shirt on
remember when flicking the channel by hand because there were no remote's
remember singing into your hair-brush wishing you were sandy from grease
 or Anna from Abba
remember when swimming in the water tank or dam with your friends
riding your b.m.x & making billy carts
 I remember when
back when life was simply simple & a friend was a friend
memories forever memories i will always treasure
 when i remember when..

Oh yes, I remember when...when my daughters were into the same thing you were, Kerry...wonderful memories you recall here. Yes, life was quite simple then wasn't it? Thanks for the nostalgia - Tim
