Remember Those Days

remember those days
when
we used to run to the old red
mail box
expecting that reply from your teasing love
then find returned poetry
weaved in blood
from the
publisher
remember those days
when we flew like butterflys{butterflies}
unaware of their
imminent death
forget those times when we crawled
like caterpillars
unmindful of our promising
flourish
i am going crazy thinking of you
and i me and us and them
and the love and the forth coming
war
