Remember the Days
Remember the days, we put on our mittens and hats
Ventured out in the cold to sing carols at neighbor’s houses
Sometimes, surrounded by sparkling flakes under lamplights
Cheerfully singing our chosen Christmas songs with glee
Rosy cheeks, with smiles and happiness in the night
Sometimes, welcomed inside with trust to eat a cookie
Other times offered something warm to have to drink
Then waving goodbye to the smiling faces we left behind
Remember the days, filled with the spirit of Christmas
Love shared at houses, those cold nights on long streets
