We seem to forget who helped us along the way and ,for sure, someone did.

Remember That Thanksgiving Day By Franklin Price 11/23/2016 Remember that Thanksgiving Day So many years ago With the Pilgrims eating all that food The natives taught them how to grow The Pilgrims and the natives Bonded in their brotherhood Hard to tell which one was better No doubt both of them were good When the pilgrims got more settled Found what the New World was about They claimed the land to be their own And chased the natives out Forgot who it was that helped them When Thanksgiving came to share Enjoyed the feast among themselves Not a single native there We still celebrate Thanksgiving As the Pilgrims in the day With no natives in attendance To share is a better way When your Thanksgiving feast is over And you've had more than your fill Take what's left to those less fortunate Today's natives, if you will
