Remember Me When

Think back in time the old days, slipping through our memories when time moved slow, awaiting satisfaction at reaching our dreams; remember me, when there was nothing else that mattered then the love we felt embracing every moment trying to breathe when hearts beat too fast; in sync we took every step together racing in both laughter and tears that fall and somehow we both knew, burned in our souls we were destined to be together; hold onto those memories our youthful escapades, the failures, mistakes, missteps, and success; the hard times got through without having to say anything; listen to the whispers deep within your heart and when I'm gone before you remember me, when time is no longer ours.
