Written, June 21, 2026 For The Premiere Contest, “Remember Me” Sponsor, Silent One
Remember me- not how I look, not how I dress, or fix my hair; not how I clean or how I cook- those necessary things, I bear. Remember me by what's unseen but comes alive from in my heart- my spirit of an artist's scene. With brush and pen, I am a part. For all these years- they lived in me- impossible to set aside; asleep at times, but there to be awakened- and with love applied. This part of me set up the rule to close the door and open it, providing that artistic fuel as grains of time let me commit. Remember me with brush and pen I share my art and poetry- and also, mostly, now and then- embrace real life, most happily!
