Remember Me

Will you remember me
Have I touched your heart in anyway
Did I leave a lasting impression
On any given day
Did I make you smile
Did I lend a helping hand
When you needed comforting
Was I there to understand
Did I come when ere’ you called me
No matter what the time
Did I reach out and hold onto you
When your hill was hard to climb
Were the words left unspoken
Or did they roll off of my tongue
Did I tell you that I loved you
Or was the melody unsung
I hope that I have helped you
And left a memory
Something you can cling to
As you remember me

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This has a nice, easy flow to it. Relaxing and still.....
