Remember Love

Remember me?
Do you recall?

The girl who stole your heart
Before this all!

My heart still loves you
No matter what the lies

Their words untrue
Created your disguise

But I remember you
The boy I love

This man of you
Is not you at all

Remember me?
Remember how we fell in love?

Once we burned like fire
We thought our love could conquer all

Remember touch?
Remember feel?

Remember what we had?
Tell me that wasn’t real?

Forget the lies
Forget the truths

Look in your mind
Remember me, remember love

Did you forget my eyes?
Did you wipe your mind of my smile, of the look of love?

Remember romance?
How we used to dance

Remember the girl
How we felt so alive just holding hands

Making dreams that were ours alone
Living a dream when we were on our own

Right here and now just look at us

Do you remember me?

Do you remember love?
