Remember, Friend
“Remeber the breeze, the chill, the singing,
Remeber the sound joyful yet chaotic.
Take back a step, align in walking,
Listen at the sound, the winds are gushing.
Find not the paper, your chair, but something,
Could be a mentor, a friend, or nothing.
Do me a favor, lean down, I'm whispering,
“Your tone is off, don't fret, keep singing”
Silent the crowd, no murmurs, no talking,
Wishing the best, to a friend not said.
For nigh the end approaching,
And the end I fear, we tread.
However, there will be singing of tomorrow,
I bid thee farewell, yet farewell means not the end.
Although in one path we need not tread or follow,
Find peace in the thought, awaiting is your friend.”
