Remember Forever
Remember forever the life of your Mother
Like her, you will neither have nor find another
Picture the smile in her heart the day your life started
The joy on her face when you first tied a shoelace
Remember how she rose early, at the crack of dawn
To prepare those scrumptious breakfasts you fueled your day on
How she spoke so gently to your Father, her Husband
Comforted him, cared for him, caressed him with loving
Then imagine the pride she felt deep down inside
When you walked down the aisle with your groom or your bride
Remember the thrill that surged through her being
When her grandchild on Skype she was surprised to be seeing
And never forget her last day here on Earth
As she winged her way toward Heaven with mirth!
