Remember

Remember all the laughs we shared?
All the smiles between us?
All the small inside jokes,
seemingly meaningless
but something really big?

Remember how we laughed so much,
we pretty much forgot what was so funny?

I do.

I remember how I helped you through
that mess you made.
I remembered how you'd cheer me up
whenever I got dumped
and I did the same for you.

Don't you?

Don't you remember all this?

Does it all not strike a part of your
shallow self?
How, can you forget all that?
