Remember

The hills sing back those echoes sent
What cheerful sounds they recall
Those life’s good moments spent
Smile filled thoughts to enthrall
But they fall behind in dark relent
When those tears of sadness come
Hear muffled sobbing echoes sent
For our dreams to this succumb
They lay in silence there to mourn
Weep in shadows with their pain
To live there alone a life forlorn
Drowning smiles in tears disdain
Remember where the smiles were born
To bring the sunshine back again
