Remember

It was in the late Spring that you left me, and I wept, wept so many crimson tears; it was your destiny that your soul be free. I question why but it was meant to be, and have been longing your sweet kiss for years; it was in the late Spring that you left me. Your young death no one could ever foresee, for a long time I was lost and had fears; it was your destiny that your soul be free. At the time I was a mother-to-be, but that was not meant either it appears; it was in the late Spring that you left me. At night I float on the ocean with a plea, love, even if it takes forty long years; it was your destiny that your soul be free. Seek me on Heaven's meeting bridge with glee oh, remember- will be the girl . . . in tears; it was in the late Spring that you left me, it was your destiny that your soul be free.

A very moving and deep poem, reminding us all that grief doesn't go away, we carry it with us. The prompts within the challenge match perfectly with this precious memory and your expressing it. Sending warmth to you.
