The best times
Are in my mind
Remember the actions
Not the feeling
Not the words
Remember the smile
But not your laugh
Remember your eyes
Yet not the ignorance
Remember a smell
But not who it was
Was it always this way
I wonder why
After all this time
Your smile still echoes
through my mind
