Remedy

If I tell you the truth,
Would you stay?
If I tell you my secrets,
Would you keep them that way?

If I let you see my demons,
Would you leave?
See me as a human
Or a monster that makes you scream.

If I let you see my tears;
Or hear my screams,
Would you give up on me?
Say that I’m insane?

Or would you hold me,
And tell me I'll be fine?
Be the poison or the medicine in my life?
You decide,

You can leave or remain,
But I hope you’ll stay.
Because you are the remedy
That keeps me sane.
