Remberance
When dusk begins to fade your smile
The moons gleam will spread some light
As you walk away each distant mile
My memory restores your glow all night
When the distance expands as you walk away
Your voice is softer and then becomes silent
All senses strain to find you which may seem gray
Steadfastness will prevail and my hopes will not relent
Perhaps out of sight and sound but not out of mind
Your touch left a feeling to reconnect and embrace
Shadows may hinder my search but I am not blind
I will forever be inspired by your charm and grace
