In a manger He lay
In this world full of sin
The purveyor of peace
The Son of all man
From the womb of a virgin
Came forth the light
Which guided the shepherds
To the miraculous sight
Gifts from the wise
Fit for a King
From meager beginnings
To omniscient being
For swaddled in cloth
In a manger that night
Came the gift to the world
Of eternal life
He shed of His blood
For the sin of all man
So with Him we'll walk
When He comes again
So remember this season
And what it's about
Go forth with His light
May it never burn out
