Religion Is the Opiate of the Asses
RELIGION IS THE OPIATE OF THE ASSES (yet more genius ignored)
I see these phools passing by geniuses and sages
Trying to tell the masses how to turn the pages
But they don’t hear their words all they do is look
And because of their ignorance they’ll never read the book
Theses sages stand on the street spouting words others don’t hear
I know theY'RE all idiots because all they do is stare
But rather than adhere to what they have to say
They stay for three minutes and then take their away
These geniuses and sages have somehow found a clue
And all they want to do is share it with both me and you
I see, I observe, I weep from what I hear
Because these morons walk away from sages whose wisdom is made clear
Yet I see these phools pass by and stop for a while
But they refuse to learn and I find that vile
They LISTEN TO words they hear yet do not understand
That there ain’t a soul who sees a man in danger and will lend a helping hand
