Relic
A hollow shell, a vacant space
A candle wick, devoid of flame's warm face
A book with pages blank and white
A life without a heartbeat, lost in night
I'm the anomaly, a puzzle piece astray
A magnet for the broken, the dark of day
I attract the shattered, the flawed and worn
Like a moth to flame, they come, and I am torn
My heart, a supernova, expansive and wide
A cosmic curse, in a world where love won't abide
I'm blind to flaws, seeing only light
A naive fool, in a world that's lost its sight
I'm a seeker of the good, a collector of souls
But like a lighthouse, I guide the lost to my shores
They come for shelter, but bring the storm inside
And I'm left to wonder, why I'm the one who'll bleed and hide
A heart so vast, it swallows me whole
A reservoir of love, in a world that makes me cold
I'm the whisperer of secrets, the keeper of the pain
A collector of broken hearts, a graveyard of love in vain
My heart is a battlefield, a war zone of emotions
A place where love and hurt go to collide
I'm a wanderer, searching for a place to belong
A stranger in a strange land, where love is a foreign tongue
In this heartless world, I'm a relic of the past
A reminder of a time when love was real, and hearts didn't rust
But still I hold on, to the flame that flickers within
A beacon of hope, in a world that's lost its way, and can't find its kin
