Released

Laying in bed, staring at the ceiling;
endless thoughts running thru my
head, tired of concealing…

These feelings bottled deep within,
of hurt pain happiness joy suffering
and screaming love in vain;
releasing them-yea I'm considering,
but what about the chain...

Created by links of secrets, melted
and molded by lies; clasped by
regrets, n polished by a decade old
disguise.

Worn well for years, never faded
broke or tarnished; from all the
fallen tears, all the yanking n pulling
still no wear n tear accomplished.

Was shackled in bondage,
imprisoned by guilt n shame; now
free n realizing i have usage, Glory
to God i now Fly because i called
HIS Name!
